Caller's Workshop

Interested in developing your calling skills? Come early for a pre-weekend calling workshop, 1:00 to 4:30 pm on Friday, Nov 14th with Tom Hinds.

If you don't already know who Tom is, he is a “big name” — nationally known for his calling and for the fabulous dances he has written, both contra dances and squares. Almost every caller has Tom Hinds dances in their repertoire — or they should! We're just thrilled to have him come to Lawrence, and this will be a great opportunity to learn from him in an informal setting. Content will be tailored to those registering for this workshop. While pre-registration is not required for the dance weekend, it is required for this workshop.
